This recipe could not be simpler, and is a really good one to do when sailing conditions are a little challenging.

4 potatoes,peeled & diced | 1 chicken stock cube |
1 small tin sweetcorn | 1 tin condensed tomato soup |
2 cups cabbage,finely chopped | Dash Worcester sauce |
3 pints water | Salt & pepper |
Place the prepared potatoes and cabbage in a large deep-sided saucepan. Add the water and stock cube, and bring to the boil. Turn the heat down and simmer for 15 minutes or until the vegetables are cooked.
Add the condensed tomato soup (no extra water), sweetcorn, Worcester sauce, salt and pepper, and cook for a further 10 minutes. Remove from the heat and mash with a potato masher - this helps to thicken the soup.
Serve only when cool enough to eat straight away.
